UVALDE, TEXAS – Community Health Development, Inc. (CHDI) has appointed Scott Graham as Chief Operations Officer beginning September 21, 2009. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, Rachel A. Gonzales-Hanson, Mr. Graham will work closely with other members of senior management and staff to assure the effective leadership of operations across the organization. He will work with department managers to effectively plan and execute the clinical and administrative activities related to delivery of services to patients, monitor productivity, provide budget oversight, and serve as facilitator and counselor on policies and practices.

Mr. Graham joins CHDI directly from P3S Corporation of San Antonio, where he helped provide oversight for more than 1,000 medical personnel, directed health service delivery for 200,000 beneficiaries through a $35M operating budget, and led an analysis of a $26M Department of Defense medical training program.
Author of five volumes of health service management instruction at the university level, Mr. Graham has taught courses in supervision, strategic planning, performance report writing, goal setting and time management. He has spoken to hundreds of groups on the topics of motivation, morale and leadership.
