UIL Realignment announced

The Biennial UIL reclassification and realignment for the 2010-2011 and 2011-2012 school years was released on Monday, February 1.  The new alignments, established by enrollment figures submitted to the UIL by its member schools in October, will serve as football and basketball districts for the next two school years.

In Conference 1A, both Leakey and Nueces Canyon, will be Division II schools in football. Their district will be 15-A-II, and will also consist of Medina, D’Hanis, Sabinal and Rocksprings.
In basketball, Leakey will be a Division II school, Leakey’s’ district for the 2010-11 basketball season, 31-A-II, will consist of Nueces Canyon, Comstock, Knippa, D’Hanis, Rocksprings and Utopia.
