Both the boys and girls Eagle teams are in the playoffs. The girls tied for second with Utopia (both 3-3 in district). Knippa got first with a 6-0 record in district and Comstock finished last at 0-6 in district. The girls flipped for the second seed with Utopia and won, so they will be the second seed in the playoffs. The girls will most likely have their first playoff game next …

A performance on Friday, December 4, 2009 at 8 p.m. of a holiday concert by singer Lee Colee will be held at the Grand Opera House inUvalde.  The Christmas event is being sponsored by the Uvalde Arts Council.
